The Red Berets have been preparing since the late hours of last night, ahead of the expected EFF Gauteng Provincial Manifesto launch at Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto on Saturday.
Party leader and Commander in Chief Julius Malema will deliver his key address to a gathering of the party’s provincial supporters.
An inspection was led by the PETF Convener, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi and Coordinator, Leigh-Ann Mathys as well as the media ahead of the event.
During the launch, the EFF is expected to present its manifesto, which outlines the party’s vision for economic justice, wealth redistribution, and empowerment of marginalized communities.
Party spokesperson Sinawo Thambo said the party aims to address historical imbalances through policies like land expropriation without compensation and the nationalisation of key industries, as well as a commitment to a future of economic freedom which includes advocating for free education and healthcare to ensure equal opportunities for all citizens.
