The Secretary-General and Member of Parliament for the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Marshall Dlamini said the party inspired by Russia as it defends itself against NATO aggression through Ukraine.
In an exclusive interview on Friday following days of bombardment on Russian soil by illegitimate Ukraine regime backed Western weapons, Secretary-General Dlamini said the party believe Russia has a right to defend itself against NATO encroachment to Russian territories through Ukraine.
“We want President Putin not to compromise on protecting Russians against NATO sponsored aggression. It is against this backdrop that as the EFF want Russia to stand firmly against a modern day imperialism. We are inspired by this resilience and determination as African countries,” he said.
He said there is nothing wrong with Russia preventing the imperialist expansion of Nato [North Atlantic Treaty Organisation].
He added that the same approach by Western countries and the US has been used for the destruction of Libyan, and current destabilization in Western Africa.
“Russia must return fire with fire because Western nations speak about peace but are known war mongers blood thirsty imperialists. Do no forget that these countries were build on the back of abuse and slavery,” he said.

The Red beret SG and MP Dlamini also urged West African nations such as Burkina Faso and Mali to stand firm and defend their territories to stop neo-colonial forces.
“There is nothing wrong with Russia protecting its territory. We know that many Western countries are isolating, banishing, and discriminating against Russian citizens,” he said adding that the EFF is convinced that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the Russian Federation averting what is a patent and clear security threat to Russian territory and people by Nato forces, and particularly the US.
Since its inception, the SG said the EFF has always been on the side of the oppressed. We have always associated ourselves with the struggle of those in Gaza and East Jerusalem. As you are aware, we have sponsored a motion in Parliament for South Africa to cut ties with Israel.
In South Africa, SG Dlamini said the country is observing the reversal of the 1994 democratic gains as Apartheid apologists are back in door through the GovrrNU.
“We want BRICS countries to be aware of Cyril Ramaphosa and his DA ministers who have dominated important portfolios such as Home Affairs, Agriculture and Communications- the likelihood is that SA is now getting orders from the West. For example, we have seen how UAZA has disrespected SA by associating Neslon Mandela with Ukraine”.
He said the EFF is therefore inspired by Russia and encouraged by its firm resistance against imperialist forces.
The man in charge of running the EFF headquarters Dlamini questioned the recently concluded Global Democracy conference organisers for hiding their funders.
“The conference was a PR exercise for the US. The Desmond Tutu foundation did well by boycotting the conference,” he said.
