THE Constitutional Court said on Monday that it is ready to rule on former President Jacob Zuma’s contempt case brought by the State Capture Inquiry.
The judgment would be handed down at 10:00 on Tuesday.
The Zondo Commission filed a contempt of court application against Zuma earlier this year after he repeatedly failed to appear before the inquiry.
The commission also asked the Constitutional Court that Zuma be jailed for two years, ordered to pay legal costs in the matter and that his failure to explain himself or apologise to the court should also be considered in deciding the sanction.
