South African musician Lime Pantsi, popularly known as Liema, has been crowned the winner of Big Brother Mzansi Season 6, walking away with the R2 million grand prize.
The 24-year-old singer and songwriter from Qonce in the Eastern Cape emerged victorious from a pool of 23 housemates who entered the competition on 11 January 2026, capping off a dramatic and eventful season.
This season introduced a twist, with four former housemates returning to the game after a five-day public vote.
The “redeemed” contestants re-entered the house, joining 19 new participants from across the country.
Liema stood out from the outset, displaying resilience and consistency throughout the competition.
Her strong presence earned her a loyal fan base across the continent.
In the finale, the top six housemates battled for the grand prize.
Liema ultimately claimed the title, with Thandeka Tshabalala finishing as runner-up.
The finale night unfolded with a series of evictions. Trixie exited first, placing sixth, followed by Didi. Que was the next to leave, while Bravo B secured third place as the last remaining male contestant.
The final showdown came down to Liema and Thandeka, with Liema ultimately securing the win.
In a full-circle moment, Liema’s second chance paid off. Fans will remember her from the “Siyamosha” season, where she chose to take R250,000 and exit the competition early. This time, she returned to claim the ultimate prize.
