KZN Health MEC Nomagugu Simelane-Zulu was elected Deputy Chairperson after receiving 927 votes, beating MEC of Education, Kwazi Mshengu.

Bheki Mtolo was duly been elected as Provincial Secretary, beating Mdumiseni Ntuli.

Sipho Hlomuka, on the other hand, was re-elected as the Deputy Provincial Secretary while Dr Ntuthuko Mahlaba was duly elected as the Provincial Treasurer.

President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to close the provincial conference on Sunday.
