“I am delighted by the outcome of the results. President Ramaphosa was the distracted by Covid-19 pandemic. He will go back to the economic recovery plan and jobs will be created. We are not happy with loadshedding though but we believe President Ramaphosa, together with his Cabinet, will work tirelessly to resolve the problem. The President must work together with the private sector to create employment.”

THILIVHALI WASHU, ANC member, Vhembe district, Limpopo.

Thilvhali Washu.

“It was very, very hard for Ramaphosa to win the elections, but he won. I am expecting President Cyril Ramaphosa to solve loadshedding issues and work with youth to tackle unemployment issues.”

HLAZO MANDLAKAZI, ANC delegate, Eastern Cape.

Mandlakazi Hlazo.

“President Ramaphosa will deal with unemployment and ensure that the unemployment rate decreases. He has introduced many programs for young people and we are happy with that.”

THANDEKA MOSITO, ANC member from Gauteng.

Thando Mosito.

“I don’t think the President must take leave. He must firstly focus on load shedding. Eskom is a big ‘elephant’ and it should be the first thing Ramaphosa deals with. Loadshedding is affecting our economy and people are losing their jobs, businesses are closing. The branches have given him a second chance to bring change. We are expecting to see that change.”

TSHIDI MSIMANGO, ANC member, Tshwane.

Tshidi Msimango.

“I want Cyril Ramaphosa to be more strict with State Capture [corruption]. People must be arrested for corruption. Yes, we hear about PhalaPhala but Ramaphosa has never stolen money from Sassa or the people of South Africa. No one can do better than Ramaphosa.”

DOCTOR NONO, ANC member, Gauteng.

Doctor Nono.

“I’m very delighted that Ramaphosa got a second term. Well, loadshedding has always been there. We all know that. It’s not the problem of the current president. Let us give the new Cabinet space to deal with loadshedding, unemployment and the economy status of South Africa”
