Jacob Zuma’s legal team has requested an adjournment to consider whether the former president should continue with his testimony at the Inquiry into State Capture.
Zuma’s lawyer, Adv. Muzi Sikhakhane says it’s clear that his client was brought to the commission “under false pretences.”
Earlier Zuma said: “I am being cross examined,” adding that he is not happy with this.
The Commission has now adjourned after which Zuma’s legal team will say whether the former president will proceed or not.
Sikakhane and his colleagues, have over the three days interjected numerous times, objecting that the line of questioning by evidence leader Paul Pretorius is unfair and amounts to a cross-examination of Zuma.
They insist that Zuma is a ‘guest’ of the commission.
