FF+ confident in court application against BLF

Freedom Front Plus leader, Pieter Groenewald, said his party is confident that the Electoral Court will rule in its favour to stop the Black First Land First party from participating in the elections.

Groenewald said the BLF’s in contravention of the Electoral Commission Act, which prohibits the IEC from registering a party that excludes membership on the basis of race or ethnicity.

 The BLF is adamant it will not open its membership to white people.

It’s also confident it will defeat the FF Plus’ Electoral Court application to have it removed from the ballot paper.
