It never rains but pours and so the saying is aptly true for discredited bogus doctor Matthew Bongani Lani as the Department of Education confirms that he never even passed Grade 12 that would have allowed him to go to University to study medicine.
Earlier, the Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) reported that there is no existing record of a National Senior Certificate (NSC), or Matric Certificate, for Lani, who has been masquerading on social media as a medical practitioner.
In a statement released on Monday, the department’s spokesperson, Steve Mabona, confirmed that Lani does not possess a Matric Certificate.
“Official records indicate that Matthew Bongani Lani was initially enrolled at Bordeaux Primary School in Randburg in 2007.
