President Cyril Ramaphosa and DA leader John Steenhuisen will hold a meeting on Tuesday evening before the Cabinet lekgotla this week after public spats between senior leaders from both parties.
Following the land expropriation bill becoming law, the DA is especially incensed, saying it was not consulted on the matter and found out about it on social media.
Steenhuisen told reporters in Johannesburg on Tuesday that he had written a letter to Ramaphosa requesting the meeting.
The Presidency has responded and is working on setting up the meeting.
