Police officers were forced into a dangerous confrontation with an armed man allegedly wielding a weapon outside a Police Station.
Footage shared by Yusuf Abramjee shows an incident unfolding in broad daylight, drawing the attention of bystanders while sparking fears of violence.
The footage shows an agitated man brandishing a weapon near the entrance of a police station.
Officers on duty intervened, ordering the man to drop the weapon. Instead of complying, the suspect resists, leading to a tense standoff that escalated into a physical altercation.
The confrontation lasted several minutes, during which time the man allegedly attempted to strike the officers.
Despite the risk, police managed to overpower him and secure the weapon.
He was restrained and taken into custody.
