Professional wrestler and actor John Cena, a 17-time world champion, will wrestle his final match against Gunther at WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. on Saturday.
WWE says the event streams live at 8 pm ET (3am Sunday) on Peacock in the United States and on YouTube internationally.
The bout will close out Cena’s year-long farewell tour, which included 36 dates and 18 matches, and brings to an end his 23-year in-ring career.
Gunther earned the right to face Cena by winning “The Last Time is Now” tournament, WWE said.
Gunther has said he plans to try to make Cena “submit” in the farewell match, in what has been billed as an emotional send-off for one of WWE’s most recognisable stars.
