ANC Secretary‑General Fikile Mbalula delivers a keynote address, outlining the party’s program of action to galvanise communities behind the ANC and encourage voter registration.

He is joined by ANC KZN Provincial Convenor Mike Mabuyakhulu, members of the National Executive Committee (NEC), and the Provincial Task Team (PTT).
The assembly serves as the official launchpad for the ANC’s voter mobilisation campaign in KwaZulu‑Natal.

The eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality remains the ANC’s largest and most strategically important region.
The assembly is therefore seen as a critical step in consolidating support and energising volunteers ahead of the November 2026 Local Government Elections.

Mbalula’s keynote is expected to set the tone for the ANC’s broader campaign, reinforcing the message that voter registration is the foundation of electoral success.
