CHAOS broke out at the KwaKhangelamakengane Royal Palace shortly after Prince Misuzulu Zulu was named as the preferred new AmaZulu King.
This comes after AmaZulu Queen Regent Mantfombi Dlamini-Zulu’s will was read by Advocate Madoda Madonsela.
The Queen picked Misuzulu, her eldest son, to succeed King Goodwill Zwelithini.
The queen, who was buried on Friday morning, had shortly before her death been announced as regent, as apparently instructed in King Goodwill Zwelithini KaBhekuzulu’s last will and testament.
However, two of the king’s daughters have disputed the authenticity of the will.
Prince Misuzulu had to be whisked away from the meeting shortly after the announcement.
