Phala Phala: Dlamini-Zuma is not facing any disciplinary charges – Mabe

THE ANC has rejected reports that Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma is facing disciplinary charges for supporting the adoption of the Section 89 panel which found that President Cyril Ramaphosa may have violated the Constitution.

This comes after a letter signed by acting Secretary-General, Paul Mashatile, made the rounds on social media, saying that Dlamini-Zuma undermined the party’s order when she voted with the opposition.

Parliament established the Section 89 independent panel report to look at whether there was a prima facie case against Ramaphosa after he failed to declare foreign currency and report the matter to the police following a robbery at his Phala Phala farm.

ANC spokesperson Pule Mabe told journalists on Friday that no decision was taken to discipline Dlamini-Zuma.
