SA Delegation In Norway Seeks To Boost Investment Into SA

As part of efforts to mobilise investment to South Africa, a South African delegation in Norway has met key partners in government and business ahead of the Nordic Africa Business (NABA) Summit in the capital Oslo.

The NABA Summit focuses exclusively on Africa, with the aim of expanding economic ties between the Nordic region and the African continent.

The theme of the 2019 Summit, is ‘Better Business Together‘ – which emphasizes dialogue, networking and confidence building as part of supporting the economic agenda of South Africa and Nigeria, Africa’s two biggest economies.

Small Business Development, Khumbudzo Ntshavheni, is leadimg the delegation in place of Deputy President David Mabuza.

Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Alvin Botes, and Fikile Majola, Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry are also part of the group.

South Africa’s focus areas are expected to be on investment and cooperation in the energy, finance, technology, health, oceans economy and agribusiness.
