DELAYS at the 55th ANC national elective conference were largely caused by a new, high-tech membership registration system, acccording to ANC spokesperson Pule Mabe.
He said the new membership system being used has a number of security features to avoid any form of infiltration or illegal access to the conference.
The new membership system is also capable of detecting and eliminating ‘ghost’ delegates who are not eligible to attend conference.
“The only thing that needs to be finalized is credentials. There is a new membership system being used that has a number of security features to avoid any form of infiltration,” he said.
Mabe said the party would be able to conclude its business on time despite the baffling delays caused by technical glitches and challenges.
“But I can assure you that we will be able to conclude the conference as planned, it’s all hence on deck,” Mabe
