THE DA Federal Congress presiding officers, Greg Krumbock and Bridget Masango, on Wednesday announced the names of candidates to stand for election at the party’s Federal Congress in April.
The current party leader John Steenhuisen is expected to contest former Johannesburg Mayor Mpho Phalatse for the position of DA Federal leader.
The DA will hold its elective federal congress on 1 and 2 April 2023.
“In just 17 days, DA Federal Congress delegates will participate in a democratic internal election to select the leadership of the DA that will take the party forward,” said Krumbock.
He said preparation for DA Federal Congress 2023 is proceeding full steam and the hard work being carried out to prepare for a successful Federal Congress is progressing according to plan.
