Two more suspects have been arrested for the murder of 22-year-old Nigerian national Isaac David Satlat, an e-hailing driver attacked in Pretoria last week after responding to a ride request.

Gauteng police said on Monday that the two male suspects, aged 30 and 26, will join a third female suspect, aged 25, who was arrested on Friday.

The suspects will appear before the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Monday on charges that include car hijacking and murder.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Mavela Masondo said Satlat was attacked after responding to a ride request in Pretoria West on Wednesday. His vehicle and body were later found in Atteridgeville the same day.

The dashcam video of the attack was widely shared on social media. It shows a woman seated in the front passenger seat while a man in the back seat attacks Satlat from behind.

The suspects are then seen shifting the driver into the back seat and driving off in the vehicle.

Police are still searching for a fourth suspect.
