With president Cyril Ramaphosa expected to announce his Cabinet this week, Chairperson of the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA), Sifiso Mtsweni, is calling for the inclusion of two senior NYDA officials into the executive to represent key youth issues.
In an EXCLUSIVE interview with Inside Politic on Tuesday, Mtsweni said that in the absence of a Youth Ministry, which the young lions have been calling for over the past few months, President Ramaphosa should consider co-opting two senior NYDA officials – the chairperson and the chief executive officer – into his Cabinet to represent the interest of the youth, who constitute the majority of the population.
