The state capture commission of inquiry has released details of attendance protocol for Monday, 15 July in Parktown, with former president Jacob Zuma the star attraction.
Members of the public hoping to catch proceedings will have to make their way to the venue early, as only 200 people will be allowed inside the venue on a first come first served basis.
To be allowed inside, one needs to register from 7:30am at the Camp for Christ Ministries on Empire Road, Parktown.
Zuma has confirmed he will be present at the hearings, but has stayed mum on whether or not he will be testifying.
Zuma had previously held the view that he didn’t have anything to answer to at the commission, but he said he would present himself before Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo Monday.
He previously accused the inquiry of targeting him, trying to ambush and humiliate him and of being political.
“I was asked by the commission to give my side of the story. So, we’ll see what happens. I am going to be there,” Zuma told SABC on the sidelines of his son, Duduzane’s appearance at the Randburg Magistrates Court Friday.
The former president’s supporters said they would gather outside the inquiry to support him.
