Sibanyoni and co-accused granted R 70 000 bail, with strict conditions

The R2.2 million extortion and money laundering case against Mpumalanga businessman Joe “Ferrari” Sibanyoni and his four co-accused has been postponed to 1 September at the Delmas Magistrate’s Court.

Sibanyoni (60) appeared alongside co-accused Phillimon Makhaya Msiza Mvimba, Daniel Masilela, Oupa Bafana Sindane, and were granted bail of R 70 000 each with strict bail conditions.

The proceedings have been re-enrolled and transferred from the Kwaggafontein Magistrates’ Court to Delmas due to security concerns.

Under the bail agreement, the accused must attend all scheduled court proceedings, refrain from any contact with witnesses, and report to a local police station every alternative week. Furthermore, they are prohibited from committing any further offenses while out on bail.
