ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa joined ANC Veterans’ League President Snuki Zikalala this week for the league’s high-profile Fundraising Golf Day at The Country Club Johannesburg in Woodmead.

The event marked President Ramaphosa’s return to public duties following a brief, week-long absence due to illness. The President looked in good spirits as he took part in the ceremonial tee-off alongside Zikalala, officially launching the day’s proceedings.
The prestigious event brought together a diverse group of business leaders, key societal stakeholders, and party officials, including ANC Gauteng Provincial Convener Panyaza Lesufi.

According to the ANC Veterans’ League, the gathering is designed to strengthen strategic partnerships between the ruling party and the private sector. More critically, the tournament serves as a major resource mobilization drive to fund the league’s upcoming organizational operations and electoral programmes.
Speaking at the event, organizers emphasised that the golf day offers a vital, informal platform for business and political leaders to align on strategies for inclusive economic growth and national development.
