Standard Bank Group Ltd. said Thursday that Chairman Thulani Sikhulu Gcabashe has decided to retire at the end of the annual general meeting to be held in May.
The South African bank said Mr. Gcabashe was appointed as a director of Standard Bank in 2003 and as chairman in May 2015.
The process to appoint a successor is underway, the company said.
