ActionSA has terminated the membership of former Tshwane MMC for Corporate and Shared Services Kholofelo Morodi following an internal disciplinary process linked to allegations arising from testimony before the Madlanga Commission.
In a media statement on Saturday, ActionSA Gauteng provincial chairperson Funzi Ngobeni said the party’s provincial executive committee (PEC) had resolved to terminate Morodi’s membership after considering all submissions and evidence placed before it.
Morodi was removed from her position as MMC on Friday by Tshwane Mayor Nasiphi Moya, following her suspension.
She was named at the commission in relation to allegations involving tenders and the sharing of internal tender documents with SAPS Organised Crime Sergeant Fannie Nkosi, who has also been linked in testimony to attempted murder-accused businessman Vusimusi “Cat” Matlala.
