Deputy president fine after fainting

The Presidency has clarified an incident involving Deputy President Paul Mashatile on Saturday.

He started feeling faint while giving the keynote address at N’wamitwa Day Celebrations at Valoyi Cultural Villageoutside Tzaneen in Limpopo.

He had heat exhaustion, according to sources.

“We can confirm that the deputy president has received the necessary medical attention and is well,” a statement from The Presidency said on Saturday.
