All eyes will be on the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday, as South Africa take on West Indies in the third T20 International, with the match set to get underway at 7:00 pm.
South Africa head into this contest brimming with confidence after securing a convincing seven-wicket victory in the second T20I, a result that gave them a 2–0 lead in the five-match series.
Chasing a daunting target of 222, the Proteas showed their batting depth and firepower.
The last match, made South Africa’s batting unit to be on fire, with Quinton de Kock smashing a century and Ryan Rickelton contributing a blazing 77 off 36 deliveries.
Keshav Maharaj also has been their top wicket-taker with 4 scalps, while the West Indies’ bowling has struggled to contain the Proteas’ attack.
The West Indies, on the other hand, will be looking to keep the series alive with a victory to ensure that the remaining matches do not become academic.
Shimron Hetmyer has been their top run-scorer with 123 runs while Akeal Hosein has taken 3 wickets.

Beyond the cricket, the occasion carries added significance as it coincides with South Africa’s annual Pink Day, which is aimed at raising awareness and funds in the fight against breast cancer.
After the match, both teams will head to the T20 World Cup taking place from next weekend in India and Sri Lanka, making this a crucial warm-up game.
The Proteas are favorites to win this game and series given their current form and home advantage.
