The case against Tebogo Mnisi, a 38-year-old man accused of murdering two women in Mamelodi East, Pretoria, has been postponed to 19 January 2026 following a brief appearance on Wednesday morning.
Mnisi faces five charges, which include two counts of premeditated murder, one count of attempted murder, and charges related to the unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.
The attempted murder charge is believed to relate to a third victim who survived the attack.
Mnisi has opted to abandon his bail application. He was arrested on Monday, October 27, at a fuel station in Pretoria. His arrest follows the discovery of the bodies of cousins Tshimo and Baleseng Moramaga, who were found with gunshot wounds to the head in Mamelodi East.
The postponement will allow for further investigation and finalisation of the charge sheet.
He will remain in custody.
