Anti-apartheid activist Dr Peter Magubane was laid to rest on Wednesday at the Fourways Memorial Park.
President Cyril Ramaphosa delivered eulogy at the provincial funeral attended by Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi, and former President Thabo Mbeki.
Mourners bid farewell to a distinguished lensman, and one of the finest and most fearless journalists the country has ever produced.
The service was held at the Bryanston Methodist Church in Johannesburg.
