Congregants at AFM Jericho City on Praise Church were left stunned when a lone armed robber casually strolled into the sanctuary mid‑sermon, greeted worshippers, and then demanded their belongings.
Shock and fear were written across the faces of the choir and performers as the man, armed but oddly calm, instructed members to hand over their cellphones, wallets, and other valuables.
What the robber didn’t realize was that the entire service was being live‑streamed, and his face was captured in crisp detail for the world to see.
The video trended across social media platforms, with many viewers remarking on the robber’s almost polite demeanor. One user joked, “Sanibonani ni right (good day, are you okay), until he asked for phones instead of hymn books.
