National Coloured Congress (NCC) leader and Member of Parliament Fadiel Adams is set to testify before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry on 11 August over allegations contained in the whistleblower complaint that triggered investigations into senior Crime Intelligence officials.
Commission spokesperson Jeremy Michaels confirmed on Friday that Adams would appear under subpoena after initially being served with a Rule 3 notice in October last year.
“I can share with you that Mr Adams, who of course is a Member of Parliament and leader of the National Coloured Congress, was first served with a Rule 3 notice on the 3rd of October 2025 and there’s been correspondence back and forth between Mr Adams and our legal team. I can now confirm that he will indeed appear before the commission on the 11th of August,” Michaels said.
